PERSONAL DATA

To start a transaction with us, you need to provide some of your personal details. When you place an order, we will ask for your full name, the address where the products will be sent, your landline number (or any other phone number you would like us to use to serve you better), your email address, etc. novalite.gr strictly follows the principles of personal data protection set out in the relevant laws and international conventions and will not make any unfair use of your data, or any use without your prior consent. novalite.gr does not in any way disclose, publish, sell or exchange the personal details and information you entrust to us. Exceptionally, the company may disclose your personal data, always following the procedure provided by law, when this is required by a public authority, a court, etc. novalite.gr reserves the right to provide its suppliers with sales statistics, which will never contain personal data that could lead to the identification of individuals.

You may also, at any time and where there is a reason, change the personal details you have given us, or restrict or cancel the use of some of them (e.g. your credit card number), by completing the relevant online form.

 

PRICES OF PRODUCTS SOLD

The prices shown in the relevant catalogues next to each product include VAT (23% or 13%). These prices apply to the quantities available in our warehouse, and novalite.gr reserves the right to adjust its prices.

For certain areas of Greece where reduced VAT rates apply, product prices are lower than those shown, by the amount of the reduced VAT.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Availability: All products in the novalite.gr catalogues carry clear indications of their availability in our warehouse. This way you can easily see, before placing your order, which of our products are in stock and ready for immediate delivery, which are not immediately available but are expected from our suppliers on a set date, and which are not available while we await confirmation of the exact delivery date from our suppliers. You may nevertheless place an order even for products that are not in stock, and we will contact you by email or phone within a reasonable time to let you know when the product is likely to arrive from the supplier and then be delivered to you. In that case, if you find this time frame unsatisfactory, you may ask to cancel your order for that product.

In any case, please note that the delivery time of your order also depends on the availability of the products in our warehouse.

Under no circumstances can the company reissue receipts after 30 days have passed.

Please keep the receipts for every product you buy, so that you can present them to the manufacturers' service departments if requested, in case of a fault covered by the warranty.

In addition, you can choose whether to receive all products, which may have different delivery times due to different availability, in a single shipment on the latest date as soon as they can be handed to the courier, or to receive them in partial deliveries as each becomes available.

Register as a member and you automatically get priority on all new products, better prices for in-store pickup and priority for your online orders.

Orders placed after 3 p.m. are processed on the next working day, excluding weekends.

2. Force majeure: If, for reasons of force majeure (e.g. bad weather, strikes, etc.), we are unable to deliver the products within the agreed time, we will inform you by email so that you can tell us whether you still wish to complete your order under these circumstances.

3. Liability of novalite.gr: novalite.gr is not liable for defects or poor quality of the products it supplies to its customers. All products are received from the suppliers already packaged. However, if a product in the delivered quantities is proven to be defective, you have the right to return it and have it replaced at our shipping cost, or receive a refund.

novalite.gr is not liable for organised attacks by hackers aimed at stealing users' personal data.

4. Promotional messages: novalite.gr gives its users the option to receive information about new products on the market and any other offers, payment arrangements, etc., through promotional and informational messages sent to their email or postal address or by phone. novalite.gr will not misuse this service. Users can always choose to stop receiving promotional messages.

5. Cookies: Like most websites, novalite.gr uses cookies to access certain information each time you browse our store with a web browser. Without cookies, we would not be able to offer you important services such as order status, personal settings and saving items in your basket.

Cookies are small text files that we transfer to your computer's hard drive over the internet, so that we can offer you services such as those mentioned above. In your browser settings, you can choose to block new cookies or to be asked each time a new cookie is about to be stored on your hard drive. 6. Changes to these terms: novalite.gr reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions of transactions.

7. Applicable law: All transactions you carry out through novalite.gr are governed by international and European law on e-commerce, as well as by the Consumer Protection Law (Law 2251/1994), which regulates distance selling.
